Terms of Service

1. The agreement

Evenbid is operated by Maurice Johnson, a sole proprietor based in Pennsylvania, United States, trading as “Evenbid” (“we”, “us”). These terms are between us and the company whose employees use the service. By creating an account or continuing to use Evenbid you confirm you are authorized to accept them on your company's behalf and that you agree to them.

2. Accounts and seats

Each named user needs their own seat. Seats are not shared between people. You are responsible for activity under your accounts and for keeping credentials secure.

3. Subscriptions and billing

• Plans are billed monthly or annually in advance and renew automatically until cancelled.
• Cancel at any time; access continues to the end of the paid term.
• Trials are free for 14 days and require no card. We will tell you before a trial converts.
• Prices can change with 30 days' written notice, effective at your next renewal.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation and refund mechanics are covered by Paddle's Buyer Terms. Our own refund commitment is set out in our Refund Policy.

4. Your data stays yours

You own every quote, scope checklist, leveling sheet and change order you put into Evenbid. We hold a limited licence to process it only to run the service for you. You can export it at any time. We never use it to train AI models. See the Privacy Policy for the detail.

5. Acceptable use

Do not upload unlawful content, attempt to break into the service or other customers' data, resell access, or reverse engineer the platform. We may suspend accounts that put other customers at risk.

6. Availability and support

We target 99.9% monthly uptime excluding scheduled maintenance, which we announce in advance. Support is by email for all plans and priority for Pro and Enterprise.

7. Estimates are yours to verify

Evenbid helps you compare and flag scope, but the numbers you submit remain your professional judgment. We do not guarantee that every exclusion or gap is detected, and Evenbid is not a substitute for review by a qualified estimator.

8. Liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid in that period. Neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss.
